[LCC-Club] Weekly Update

Hi,
 
This Sunday we will be attending the River Washburn for a day of hardcore paddling - high possibility of a swim, [for all!]  so this trip is only suitable for intermediate / advanced paddlers...!  River is a dam release - fast grade 2 with grade 3 features - COST - £8 for BCU members...
 
I will be at the Clubhouse at [about] 09h00 on Sunday morning if anyone needs to borrow any kit / get a lift / etc...
 
Training - We will be meeting on Thursday night to discuss the star award training scheme and its implementation at club.  If you have any ideas how to keep it fresh, exiting and challenging, or you have any feedback for coaches, please email a committee member or myself, alternatively interested parties should come to the Vesper Gate on Thursday for about 21h00...  We value your contributions!
 
Canoeing - as part of the new 2* award, there is need to complete a journey in an open boat / canoe - if anyone needs to get out on the water for a day and fulfil this requirement - please contact myself or Catherine to arrange - there is a possibility of getting out on a Tuesday evening or a Sunday TBC...
