[LCC-Club] white water improvers course - club based

Kelvin has planned a short series of coaching sessions for a small group
of paddlers, if your interested please contact Kelvin direct (
kelvinhorner at yahoo.co.uk ). Read on.
 
    * Who?         Open to anyone who paddled grade 3 last winter, and
wants to gain the confidence to paddle more challenging water this
winter.

    * Where?     4 Thursday evenings plus some weekend time subject to
water levels and available spare time. Some of this will on the Aire at
Kirkstall,  other venues may include:- Washburn, Tryweryn, Tees and
Armley pool.

    * What?     4 weeks covering:- * River awareness 

                                                * White-water
fundamentals 

                                                * Key strokes and timing

                                                * Rolling and bracing

    *When?    Proposed Start Thursday 14th August.

If you're interested, please contact Kelvin via the email. This course
is not a first come first served course, the group will be vetted to
arrive at a suitable paddling group where each of the members will get
the maximum benefit. The group will be limited to four persons.

If you're interested but uncertain of your suitability for this session,
please still email Kelvin, as this may allow planning for a future
sessions of a similar nature.
