[LCC-Club] One Star Assessment

Over the last weeks we have been working towards the One Star BCU Qualification.
 
Next Thursday, 14/08/08 will be the assessment.
 
You will need to pay the BCU for your badge and certificate. [About £5]  http://www.bcu.org.uk
 
Please ensure you bring with you full wet kit, as you will be getting very wet - part of the course involves swimming back to the bank with your boat and your paddle.  I will endeavour to have a hot shower for all participants, but no promises as we have had repeated problems with using the facilities at the clubhouse. 

Looking at the weather forecast, the assessment maybe on the canal, this will be decided on the evening.
 
Meet at Clubhouse on Thursday 14th at 18h00, ready to start the assessment at 18h30 prompt.
