There are a total of 35 bunks available , only when these bunk spaces are taken, can we have the beer garden to camp in. Campest of all, Steve Taylor has already provisionally booked him self in and is counting on the other places filling up quickly. If for no other reason than to guarantee that the Kiwi Steve sleeps outside book early.
If your interested read on and reply to this email (keeping Llangollen in the subject box, so I can find it again)
regards
Martin

I realise that this may seem like a long way off, but get your diary's out and start planning for this White water weekend now.
October 17th, 18th, 19th.
Introduction to White water weekend.
I have provisionally booked places at the Goat Inn (as the last three years), which has places for about 35 people, with overflow allowed in tents in the beer garden (Only if we have enough people interested)
Traditionally this is the first White water trip for many, any is intended to be a training weekend, with the opportunity to run the Serpents Tail and for some the opportunity to run Town falls.
Itinerary
Arrive Friday evening - Drink and meet up with the other members of the club.
Paddle Saturday - evening meal at the Goat in, Drink and share tales of your exploits during the day
Paddle Sunday - Go home smiling.
As last years trip was as popular with the old hands as the newbie's, I am proposing to split the groups where we can, with a concentration on newbie's, to ensure that they get the best out of the trip, with those old hands who want to come along and paddle, being allowed the free time to chose where and what they want to do. (As last year)
As I have only provisional booked the goat inn, I need to get some commitments from as many of you as possible, as soon as possible, so that the club doesn't end up out of pocket.
The accommodation is bunkhouse stile, there are some family rooms available and car park spaces for those sleeping in vans.
This years trip has gone up a little and is expected to cost £55 and includes a bunk for Friday and Saturday nights, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings (if your up in time), evening meal on Saturday night. Other fee's will be payable by yourselves on the day (parking, facilities at Tryweryn, river fees where aplicable).
For us to book the whole pub we need 35 people, for us to be allowed to camp we need to exceed the pub capacity of about 40.
Let me know as soon as you can, as usual this trip will fill up fast.
regards
Martin Thornton
