[LCC-Club] Alternative first aid courses, company sponsorships and those wanting more than 8hrs

First Aid for those wanting any of the following.

 

1)      16 hour (Outdoor incident Management first aid), which is suitable for anyone wishing to forward their coaching career.

2)      Company sponsored first aid, with the additional time spent to cover additional BCU requirements

3)      Any other first aid training.

 

We are using Underwood Training to provide us with our BCU first aid training and certification, Helen Underwood has offered us a flexible deal on any of the courses she lists on her website.

BCU members can up to 10% discount on BCU relevant course and if we have more than three Leeds Canoe Club members book with Underwood training, we can have up to another 10% off. This means that the 16hr ODIM course can be discounted down from £110 to £90.

 

Also if you can get a company sponsorship deal, whereby your employer pays for a relevant course, such as emergency first aid for the workplace (an alternative 8hr course), Underwood training will stay behind after the main course is concluded to cover the additional aquatic modules. This course costs £85 and includes lunch and is held at St Gemma's in Leeds (dates on the website)

 

Underwood Training will raise all relevant invoices and paper work to keep your company sponsor's accounts department happy.

 

Company sponsor deals won't be subject to further discount, though stating that you're a member of LEEDS CANOE CLUB will aid the other members in achieving a discount.

 

Due to the high variety of courses and dates available, it's advisable to book direct with Underwood Training via mail at underwood-training.co.uk Using LEEDS CANOE CLUB as your subject reference. There are at least three of us planning to book these courses so we should get the discounts.
