We provide boats and kit for beginners. Ideally you should have a
wetsuit, but at a pinch you can get by with a change of clothes - bring
some old (warm) clothes and trainers that you don't mind getting wet. A
windproof cagoule or similar to wear over the top is also advisable as
it can get chilly on the water. And bring some food and drink you can
carry in the boat.

TUESDAY/THURSDAY EVENING RIVER SESSIONS HAVE NOW FINISHED FOR THE YEAR
Pool sessions on Thursdays as usual.
n.b. now the evening river sessions have finished the pool sessions are
going to be busy. I've been a bit lax about the band system in recent
months and haven't worried to much about people turning up late and
getting in without a band and paying after, but from now on we'll have
to start being more strict. Only people with bands are allowed to
paddle. We are limited to the number of boats we can have in the pool,
so if you come late you probably won't get a boat. Please check with me
or the lifeguard BEFORE you get changed to see if there is any space
available. If there isn't space, you can try to persuade a mate who has
a band to share their boat, but the negotiations are down to you.
Cheers,
Steve
