You're on a river trip, a small group, perhaps beginners with a suitable person leading the way, one of your party takes a swim and is carried away by the current. Your coach or river leader starts doing what he or she is trained to do. Gets the rest of the team to safety of the bank, then goes off to rescue the swimming member of the party.
For whatever reason the person and boat rescue takes a very long time, you are part of the group that's standing safely on the bank, starting to get cold, very cold what are you going to do, what if that persons you and the rest of your group haven't got a clue either.
Hyperthermia is more common than drowning. Do you know how to spot it, how to stop it, don't you think you should find out.
£41.25 gets you a whole days certificated Aquatic first aid training, with a group of likeminded people from the club, you even get a book to take home with you and read at your leisure.

Any unfilled places will be offered up to other clubs in the area on Monday, get your fingers out now.
