Please find attached information on the February Wildwater /Wavehopper Race at the Burrs near Bury.
If you’ve nearer been to the Burrs before it makes a great introductory race for juniors, as well as an ideal location for training and coaching. It is possible to run down the river, then paddle back on the canal (next to the river) to the start, and do it all again, this allows for multiple training runs in safe conditions.
We have booked the bunk house next to the finish if anyone is interested in staying on the Saturday night; you could always race at the Goyt (Manchester) on the Saturday and stay over for the race at Bury on the Sunday. I am willing organize coaching either day if people are interested.
Please let me know if you would like further information.
Regards
David
