[LCC-Club] Leeds Canoe Club Spring Bank Holiday Camping Weekend - N Wales

Hi All,

 

Tryweryn is releasing Saturday and Sunday (Monday yet to be confirmed),
so the trip is a goer. Surf forecast not very promising at the moment -
but we can live without that. Maybe do JJ's on the Dee at some point.

We'll camp in the lower field by the river. Pay at the farmhouse side
(they had a caravan set up as reception last time I was there), then you
have to cross the main road and go down a gated track opposite the
farm). Me and Dave are going down early on Friday so will probably be
first there - look out for Dave's van. Tell reception you are in the
Leeds Canoe Club party just in case the bottom field is too boggy and
they have had to put us somewhere else.

Anyone else?

 

Katie, Elizabeth and Sue have transport but no roof rack - does anyone
have space on their car to take club boats down? They will take paddles
and kit. Let me know asap so we can arrange when to pick boats up from
the clubhouse.
