[LCC-Club] FW: The Aire Spring Clean

Saturday 24th April. Aire Spring Clean
Collecting litter and rubbish down the river from the boat house to St Annes Mill
 
Meet at the boat house for 9am. Followed by BBQ at 2pm, Morrisons are sending some vouchers to spend on food and drinks.  Leeds City Council and the National St Georges day tidy Campaign are providing equipment.
 
Big thanks to Mick for sorting the skip and to all that have already volunteered.
 
The club are doing this to promote the use of the river and help with future development opportunities. The local press, BBC and many canoe magazines have expressed an interest in this event.  So lets get lots of people involved so we can promote the club.
