Hi All,
I'm working towards my UKCC Level 2 Coach Assessment this summer and as part
of that I will need to deliver a minimum of 6 sessions to a group. I will be
concentrating on delivering a progressive training programme aimed at those
who'd like to work towards their 2* award this summer, whether your
experience is predominantly kayak based or open canoe based disciplines...
The 2* award is not discipline specific, which means we'll be working on
both kayak and open canoe skills. Don't let the open boat skills put you off
- this actually really helps your kayaking and may well open up your
thinking to explore this fantastic discipline further.! For full details of
what we'll be covering and the level you need to be at please see the
following link:

What's in it for you?
Well hopefully some great coaching and at the end of it all you'll be able
to achieve your 2* award following assessment.
What's the commitment from you?
Well. I'd like to have the same people for as many for the first 6 sessions
- after that we can work together to fine tune anything for assessment, but
the core of the work will be taking place every Thursday over the next 6
weeks, starting next week (29 April) at the club venue on the river.
I have already recruited 3 people and need a further 3 people, so if you're
interested in doing your 2* please let me know as soon as possible ahead of
next week - either by email or telephone me on 07859 829421. Last three
spaces are on a first come first served basis.so act quickly to get your
space!
If you have any questions please let me know.
Thanks
Paul
