Hi All,

Pool sessions - last session at John Charles will be Thursday 13th May.
We will then transfer back to the brand spanking new Armley Leisure
Centre on Wednesday evenings 8.00 - 9.00 p.m.. All boats MUST be very
clean and very padded J 

First session at Armley - Wednesday 19th May.

Friday 30th April.  Polo training at Wetherby Sports Centre,  9.00 -
10.00 p.m. All welcome. Contact Mick or Curly if you intend to go.

This weekend:

Sunday 2nd May 2010.  Intermediate trip. Washburn release (fast Grade
III dam release nr Otley). Running 9.00 - 5.00. Usual fees apply.

I'll be at the clubhouse at 9.00 a.m. if anyone needs boats/kit,
otherwise see you there.

(n.b. Rumored to be some surf on the East coast at the weekend)

Coming up:

 

15th - 16th May 2010  Bradford & Bingley Wagon Lane Div 3/4 & Doubles
Slalom. A great social camping weekend - beginners welcome. Contact Mick

28th-31st May. Spring Bank Holiday Intermediate weekend in Bala. Maybe
Tryweryn, maybe surf. Camping Fri/Sat/Sun nights -  Ty Isaf Campsite.
Please let me know asap if you are interested so I can give them some
idea of numbers.

 

Sunday 20th June. Leeds Canoe Club run our own Washburn release.
Volunteers needed.

 

Saturday 10th July. Kirkstall Festival. LCC run a 'come and try it'
event. Volunteers needed.

 

24th July. Social outing to York Races. Contact Mick if interested

Regular summer Tuesday/Thursday evening river sessions on the Aire at
Kirkstall have now resumed. Tuesdays 6.00 p.m. prompt. Thursdays 6.30
p.m.
