Subject: For Sale: Drysuit £65 ono
Hi
As I have just bought a new drysuit, I am selling my old Robin Hood dry suit. I am looking for around £65 ono for it, though it will need a new neck seal very soon which RoHo will supply and fit for £24.50. I can have this fitted beforehand if required.
All the other seals seem to be OK. It is large so it should fit a person between 5' 11" to 6' 2" (or many be taller persons), though obviously you can try it on.
It is made by RoHo. It is a non-breathable type, but this makes it very durable and very waterproof. I would expect this suit to last for many more years, with obviously the occasional replacement of the latex seals, as with all dry suits.
It has a metal type back zip.
It does not have a relief zip, nor a kayaking spraydeck skirt, but this is not essential. I have been using it for kayaking for 2-3 years without a problem.
I bought a new one because in my Dagger Mamba boat there are catches that are exposed so can tear the ankle seal. This should not be a problem on other boats. I also wanted one with a relief zip, so I could drink more beer the night before.
I would guess that a new suit like this one would cost about £200 - 250. Check out the prices on http://www.roho.co.uk/acatalog/Dry_Suits.html
If you are interested, please email or phone.
Regards
Mark
