Hi All,

Pool sessions resume tonight - assuming I can get some boats there J  If anyone can help transporting boats I'll be at the clubhouse at 6.00p.m.

Sunday 10th January 2010.  Beginner's trip. Meet at clubhouse 9.00 a.m. Given the weather conditions we'll probably just paddle the section of the River Aire near the clubhouse.....

If you have not been before, the clubhouse is in the grounds of the Rugby Academy, next to Morrisson's supermarket. Park in the Rugby Academy carpark.

We provide boats and kit. Forecast is for COLD so you need a wetsuit, and several fleece layers plus a nylon cagoule, running top or similar over the top to keep the wind off. And bring some food and drink you can carry in the boat.

Coming up:

29th -31st January 2010.   Lakes Weekend. We're now staying at Windermere Youth Hostel on the Friday and Saturday night. It costs £21.00 per person per night B&B for a dorm bed.  There are 2 double rooms and 3 twin rooms available, these will cost £23 per person per night, including breakfast, on a first come first served basis.  The paddling will be suitable for intermediates and better beginners (who have done a few evening sessions/river trips) but everyone is welcome to join us for the evenings and families can come too.
